I am an experienced VJ with over four years of expertise, including two years of professional work in the club scene. My primary tool for crafting immersive visual experiences is TouchDesigner, for which I hold a commercial license. Additionally, I have strong proficiency in Resolume and some knowledge of MadMapper. My technical skills extend to managing a variety of hardware setups, including projectors, LED walls, DJ equipment, and the creation of simple yet effective media servers using TouchDesigner, NDI, wireless routers, and micro PCs like Raspberry Pi. My familiarity with holographic displays, such as water screens and holographic fans, allows me to bring innovative visual elements to any event. I also have expertise in controlling laser systems, adding another dynamic layer to my visual performances.
I specialize in live video mixing and effects manipulation at an expert level, always striving to keep my visuals fresh and engaging. My work is heavily audio-reactive, creating a synchronized experience that resonates with the music. My technical prowess also includes the use of Arduino and serial inputs for interactive visuals, which enables me to push the boundaries of real-time visual performances.
Creativity is at the core of my approach. Before any event, I take the time to listen to the artists, understand their creative direction, and collaborate on design improvements. My visual style is diverse, encompassing everything from abstract and geometric patterns to minimalist and psychedelic designs, with a particular passion for real-time 3D rendering and interactions. I produce 90% of my content, focusing on live motion graphics, and I enjoy collaborating with illustrators, animators, and 3D artists for the rest. My inspiration comes from meditative technology, creative coding, and the natural world, which has led to some of my favorite projects, such as videomapping on natural landscapes like rocks and trees.
Professionalism and adaptability are key to my success. I pride myself on being punctual, with projects finalized well in advance of the event date, and I’m always prepared to make adjustments to ensure the visuals align perfectly with the event’s theme and brand identity. I thrive on the ability to adapt on the fly, making real-time changes to create those memorable "wow" moments, especially during the peak hours of an event.
Word of mouth has been my primary source of new opportunities, supplemented by a modest social media presence. While I don’t always have the time to document and update my portfolio due to my focus on new projects, I am committed to improving this aspect to showcase my latest work more effectively. Client satisfaction is paramount; I actively seek feedback from both audiences and promoters, ensuring every performance meets or exceeds expectations.
